Yuki Takahashi topped the second session of free practice for the Moto2 class in Qatar, taking a couple of tenths off Toni Elias' pole record from last year. The Gresini rider finished just five hundredths of a second ahead of Marc VDS Racing's Scott Redding, who finished a similar amount ahead of Viessmann Kiefer's Stefan Bradl. Andrea Iannone took 4th spot on the Speed Master Suter.
